Stress Management

Stress

Stress is a part of everyone's lives and can negatively affect our wellbeing more than we realize.

Ongoing distress (negative stressors) can cause depressed mood, extreme fatigue, heighten susceptibility to disease & illness, as well as increase self-medicating behaviors such as drug & alcohol use, and adversely affect eating and dietary behaviors, among other similar physiological and psychological symptoms. These are some of the warning signs you may be approaching burnout.

There are many ways that one can manage stress such as exercise, stress management techniques, counseling and time out for recreational activities.
