WSU Committees
Commission on the Status of Women
To advise the President, to gather data, and to make policy recommendations on all issues relevant to women.
Fee Committee
Deliberates matters related to instructional and other fees charged students for special services, excluding operating fees, S & A fees, or student loan fees. Two grad students recommended by GPSA
Service & Activities Facilities Committee
Studies and recommends the allocation of the facilities fee portion of the services and activities fees on a continuing basis. One grad student recommended by GPSA.
Health and Safety Committee
Advises on matters of policy relating to health and the protection of life and property where Washington State University's responsibility is concerned. Reviews campus safety and security issues.
University Advisory Committee on Computing and Telecommunications (UACCT)
Develops and recommends to the President, strategic plans for computing and telecommunications.
Parking Appeals Committee
Establishes and maintains an appeals procedure for parking violations on campus. Hears appeals as requested and renders decisions.
Counseling and Health Advisory Committee
Acts as an advisory group to the Director of Health and Wellness Services and and the Director of Counseling and Testing Services and provides liaison among students, student government, and administrators.
Arboretum and Botanical Garden Advisory Committee
Serves as an advisory committee to the Vice President for Business Affairs on all issues related to the organization and establishment of an Arboretum and Botanical Garden at Washington State University.
Land Use Committee
Determines land use by the university in capital planning projects.
Sexual Misconduct Prevention and Response Task Force
The Sexual Misconduct Prevention and Response Task Force is a consortium of multi-disciplinary groups working collaboratively to support the University's strategic goals of fostering a positive environment for academic excellence.
WSU Board of Student Publications
The Student Publications Board is a forum for students, faculty and staff to help direct the operational policies at The Daily Evergreen and Chinook.
